Networking Vendors are off to the Kubernetes conferences in 2018. Everywhere you look, vendors are sending emails about their K*S integrations and to look for them at the K8S conferences.
Why is this ?
K8S is poised to become the successor to VMs. We don’t need the server emulation what we really want is a way to run code and so developers should define the machine – hence, containers.
And containers need networking. Not just in the public cloud but also to integrate with SD-WAN where branch networks/remote users can have safe access to apps.
There is a lot to play for.
