Quick and free DNS servers. Which
220.127.116.11 cleanbrowsing (warning : I can’t see any provenance behind noc.org – who are they ?)
My current favourite is the Cloudflare DNS as they have strong privacy and safety ethic about their product.

Quad 9 – secured and unsecured
The Quad9 service is operated by IBM. Quad9 is a safety service and may block domains that are unsafe.
Quad 9 provides 2 types of resolvers, “Secure” which provides security features, and “Unsecured” which doesn’t.
Secure IPv4: 126.96.36.199
Secure IPv6: 2620:fe::fe
Unsecured IPv4: 188.8.131.52
Unsecured IPv6: 2620:fe::10

Google DNS and Cisco OpenDNS as the data is used for other purposes e.g. Google uses DNS as a surveillance tool for their ad targeting. Cisco OpenDNS uses DNS surveillance to search for malware and feed into Cisco’s threat intelligence products. Their privacy statements are unclear about user privacy.
Cleanbrowsing : I can’t see who owns/operates this service. Provenance is unclear.
What about 184.108.40.206 ?
This DNS server was well known as one of the first public DNS servers and was operated/managed by Level 3. Today you should be using one of the services above.
