Next time a technology executive gets on stage and froths at the mouth with total-focus-on-the-customer you should remember that they really don’t care at all, because they will cause you pain to avoid their own pain. Thats not customer focus, thats finding suckers.
As we look to the future, we want to take a more focused approach that will help us bring the best email experience to everyone. As a result, we’re planning to focus solely on Gmail and say goodbye to Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019.
The world needs commitment and persistence. Not a flighty, erratic, teenage computer club walking away from products when it gets difficult. Better still, don’t start new stuff in the first place.
