Public Cloud Computing Looks Bad – Again.

ma.gnolia.com, an online boolmarking service like delicious is broken. Another “Cloud Computing” service goes out with a whimper.

Another example of why I continue to believe that public “Cloud Computing” will fail.

How can they not have an offsite backup ? How could I validate their service ? How do I know that the provider is not doing something illegal (a la Satyam and will ultimately fail ?

How fast can I recover ?

All reasons why Private Cloud Computing is the future.

And yes, Cisco is well positioned for that change as well.
