Network Dictionary – Proprietary

Proprietary. n.

  1. the opposite of of standard. Feature not compatible with agreed and open standard.
  2. anything you don’t understand or don’t want to understand.
  3. something a vendor can’t do with their product ( and don’t want to admit it )
