Network Dictionary – Powerpoint Waterboarding

Waterboarding is a form of torture that was legalised by the US government performed by strapping the person to a wooden board and holding a very wet towel over the victim’s head, especially nose and mouth thus simulating drowning and sending the victim in to a semi-conscious state.

Powerpoint Waterboarding occurs when a vendor / supplier arrives with a full deck of slides and proceeds to read the words of each slide until you slide into unconsciousness. As such a unique form of corporate torture perpetrated by incompetents on the vain hope of receiving a purchase order in the future.
