Network Dictionary – Functionality

Functionality

1. Capability of a design to deliver some outcome relating to the method by which the network delivers that capability.

2. Something an Analyst imagined, the Network Architect designs and then disappears forever because Operations doesn’t do it that way.

3. Functionality is opposed to quality – functionality is easily defined, but no one can ever see it.
