Network Dictionary – Coffice

As a freelance worker, there are gaps between contracts and engagements that I fill with the most lush and indulgent behaviour. I head down to my favourite coffee shop, where friends are constantly streaming through, layout my computer and mobile phone and look all important.

While I fool myself that I am writing a book, or preparing a blog post, in reality I am just sitting around having loads of fun doing nothing.

It is known as the COFFICE

COffice – definition: the name used to describe the pretence of working while sitting at a Coffee Shop. Prefereably with free wifi. As in “yes, darling, I’ll be down at the Coffice if you want me.”

And comfy lounge chairs, oh yes!
