Network Dictionary – CCIE Pounds

CCIE Pounds refers to the weight that you gain while studying for the CCIE lab exam. Given that:

  • hours spent labbing or reading,
  • the comfort eating
  • close proximity to the fridge,
  • subconscious study avoidance (SSA)

its not surprising that many people gain a lot of weight.

Hey Luis, I think I actually got it from a tweet from CCIE Pursuit or CCIE Journey but it might be a universal term…..

I have some o’ those pounds as well. Hoping to start on the “no more lab” exercise plan soon. Or the “new digits” weight training program. Something more fun than dreaming in debug………..

Good plan, the “no more lab” option sounds like the right approach.

  • Tim

Well, I guess I have to dream about debug crypto isakmp some more and put on more pounds. I freaking FAILED again. TIRED of this crap. Oh well, no more open dates till after v3.0 comes out in April.

Well, good luck to those of you taking it soon. I am still shocked that my 3rd attempt had the highest difficulty levels. Ouch.
