Google Docs Now Supports Diagrams

I use Google Docs occasionally. Today I noticed that it supported drawing diagrams. A little bit of imagination and you can easily have something like this, and share the drawing with other people. Check this out:

The sharing is particularly useful when doing technical support or large project designs.

I can’t believe that you can do this in a web browser, but you won’t be taking OmniGraffle away from me for network diagrams. And while the sharing option is nice (and no different to what you get in Arkadin or Webex), I still think this cloud computing stuff will all end in tears.

For quick diagrams that dont need to look too polished i think it works well and i have a feeling the live collaboration option will be useful for brainstorming ideas.
