  New research shows that outstanding performance is the product of years of deliberate practice and coaching, not of any innate talent or skill.

It’s true, becoming an expert is less to do with talent and more to do with persistence and motivation. Thanks goodness, because I know I don’t have a whole lot of talent, I just persist with reading and learning.
