- Outsourcing suddenly less popular • Channel Register — Would you give your services to a possibly corrupt company in India ? Want time to check it out ? Yeah, I still reckon outsourcing is over and the return of services will start soon. (and outsourcing will still be used for certain things, just not _everything_)
- Humyo cloud disappears from afternoon sky • The Register — Cloud Storage takes a hit this time.

- DealExtreme: $3.32 Reusable Double Eyelid Makers (4-Maker Pack) — Apparently fashion conscious Asians would love to have “double eyelids” like most European eyes do. You have probably never even thought about it. Here is where you can buy some clip-on double eyelids maker.
Fashion, are there no depths of stupidity that you will not plumb.
- DVICE: First look: NovelQuest’s insane $40k Emperor gaming chair in the flesh — What is not love about this chair. I reckon that once you bring down that hood with the screens you could really get some work done!!!

- Facebook Users Get Worse Grades in College | LiveScience — This post talks about research into Facebook users at American Colleges who get significantly lower grades, on average, than others. Two sides to this I think — one is that low achievers or people who are unable to focus, will find something, anything that distracts them. - PC World cuts off Capita call centre contract • Channel Register — PC World is insourcing it’s call centre, thus terminating it’s outsourced call centre. It looks like all staff will transfer back to PC World. bar a few middle managers. I think we will see a lot more insourcing happen as the five year contracts come to an end.
1)The stock market is no longer looking at Revenue Per Employee as a performance measure so extra headcount doesn’t matter.
2) insourcing is typically cheaper
3) companies want to change their postion in the market and outsourcing stops business change.Tell me I’m wrong ?
