Internets of Interest: 28th Oct

Collection of useful, relevant or inane places on the the Internets for 26th Oct:

  • Graded Labs Rack Rental Updates – CCIE Blog – More lab time available from Internetwork Expert. In particular, they are changing the time slots

"Around the middle of November you will see the start times of the rack rentals and mock labs vary (every 3 hours a session will start). This is designed to accommodate our customers in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Currently the sessions start at inconvenient times for customers in these locations."

I complained about this is my review recently. I wonder if this is a response. Nice.

  • Mac Bundle Box » Thanks – New bundle of MAC software for $49. The two I am looking for is Mental Case and 1Password. One of the others will prove useful and that makes it good value.
  • Arista Networks – 48 port 10 gigabit ethernet switches – Layer 2/3/4 switching up to 960 Gbps and 720 Mpps – nice for the access layer in a data center. Why doesn't Cisco have some of these ? Do they need an invitation ?
  • Macworld | iPhone Central | DOTS has glove, touchscreen problem well in hand – Special gloves that keep your hands warm, and still check my study notes (in Mental Case on the iPhone). Fill in those cold hours on the train platform.
  • Telnet Service Options « Cisco Notepad – I love finding out about all the little knobs in IOS. Enotepad (I don't know his name) pops some good info about telnet service options. It seems that it might be a question from IE Practice Lab but I didn't know about these.

    Nice.
