Collection of useful, relevant or inane places on the the Internets for 22nd Jul:
- RFC 5604 — Managed Objects for Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) over Packet Switched Networks (PSNs) — This RFC is even better.… TDM over Packet Networks.
Somewhere, that telecom voice engineer who told me that “voice would NEVER work over IP, it was impossible” back in 2000 is sucking on a very large and hopefully rotten egg. Namaste you horrible little man.
- RFC 5605 — Managed Objects for ATM over Packet Switched Networks (PSNs) — For those of us who remember ATM as the ‘protocol to rule them all’ during the late 90’s: the sheer irony of ATM over Packet network should make you laugh out loud.
