Juniper announced their Junosphere emulator recently and have been smugly telling everyone how wonderful it is. Except it isn’t. Here is my take FWIW.

IP Routing: EIGRP Configuration Guide, Cisco IOS Release 15.1M&T
The goodbye message is a feature designed to improve EIGRP network convergence. The goodbye message is broadcast when an EIGRP routing process is shut down to inform adjacent peers about the impending topology change. This feature allows supporting EIGRP peers to synchronize and recalculate neighbor relationships more efficiently than would occur if the peers discovered the topology change after the hold timer expired.
Because nothing says “Cloud Computering” like a Wireless LAN Controller.

This web site is astonishing. The author has looked the fundamental elements of the servers from all the major vendors, then reduced it into an easy to use set of PDFs that provide a infographical view on their capabilities and features. It’s an astonishing piece of work.
