iTerm and Dynamips - Write to All Terminals at Once

I am often find myself needing to stop, make a configuration change to Dynagen, and then restart. To make sure I don’t miss anything I go to every screen and write the configuration.
In iTerm, there is the ability to send the same command to all screens at once, excellent!
I am often find myself needing to stop, make a configuration change to Dynagen, and then restart. To make sure I don’t miss anything I go to every screen and write the configuration.
In iTerm, there is the ability to send the same command to all screens at once. Most useful when I am in the middle of something and I need to write the configurations on all my boxes and then shutdown dynamips (usually to make a configuration change).
Note that once you have done this, it stays in that mode until you make the menu selection again to turn it off. This is also useful, because when you restart Dynamips, you can hit the enter key a few times to clear all the consoles and reduce the CPU load (becuase idlepc works best when the IOS is at the user prompt, not at the boot prompt.

Could you please advise how you managed to get labelled tags i.e R1, R2 etc?
All I ever get with iterm is: Shell, Shell, and yes you guessed it…Shell.

Double click the tab, and a window will open “Info”, in the box “Name” put in the name you like. It will then save this name for every instance of that connection.

I was wondering if there was a way for this to be done automatically, with iterm using the GNS3 hostnames but at least this way I can label the tabs without much hassle.
